The cremation process begins with the placement of the casket/container in the cremation chamber where it’s subjected to intense heat and flame reaching temperatures between 1,400 and 1,800° F. All substances are consumed except bone fragments and any non-combustible materials, ie jewelry, dental gold, prostheses, etc., that were not removed prior to cremation as the temperature is not sufficient to consume them. The time for cremation to be completed varies with the size and weight of each human remains, but usually takes between 1 1/2 and 3 hours.

When police arrived at Ed Gein’s farmhouse to question him about Mrs. Worden’s whereabouts, they came upon the body of the fifty-eight-year-old grandmother in the summer kitchen behind the house. Hanging by her heels from a pulley, she had been beheaded and disemboweled - strung up and dressed like a butchered deer. The stunned and sickened officers called for reinforcements. Before long, a dozen or more lawmen showed up at the farm and began exploring the unspeakable contents of Ed Gein’s house of horrors. What they found during that long, hellish night was appalling beyond belief.

A skin vest, complete with breasts, which had been fashioned from the tanned upper torso of a middle-aged woman. Later, Eddie confessed that, at night, he would lace the skin around himself and go mincing around the farmhouse, pretending to be his mother.

This is a mature female spider of the Nephila genus. I’m not sure the exact species, but members of this genus are also known as “golden silk orb weavers.” Their yellow-orange silk can be used to make golden cloth, like in this tapestry.
The bite of a Nephila isn’t serious. Wikipedia describes the worst case scenario - localized pain or a more severe allergic reaction - but most bitten will only experience a little itching. Like any spider, they only bite in self defense or when forcibly pressed against skin, and these big females are especially docile. I’ve held a related species on two occasions, they don’t scare very easily.
They’re so laid back, in fact, and so insistent on remaining in the same web, that these are the spiders some cultures have used as mosquito guards, deliberately setting them up to spin webs in open windows or over the top of a baby’s crib.
In the final years of the 1960s, five people were randomly selected and murdered by an unknown killer in San Francisco. The killer called himself ‘Zodiac’ and taunted the police for years with letters that mocked their failure to capture him. Although the murders ceased in 1969, the unknown killer stayed in communication with the media and the San Francisco police department - even sending them a Halloween card - for the next decade. Despite claiming responsibility for as many as 37 deaths (the official number is 5) the Zodiac Killer was never captured.
